Oetzen is a municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Oetzen Samtgemeinde Rosche.

Community structure
The municipality consists of the independent towns Oetzen break Wedel, Dörmte, Jarlitz, Oetzen (until 10 September 1936 written Oitzen ), sticks and Süttorf and Oetzmühle.
History
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the communities break Wedel, Dörmte, Jarlitz, sticks and Suttorf were incorporated.
