Oetzen

Oetzen is a municipality in the midst of the Lüneburg Heath in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The municipality belongs to the Oetzen Samtgemeinde Rosche.

Geography

Community structure

The municipality consists of the independent towns Oetzen break Wedel, Dörmte, Jarlitz, Oetzen (until 10 September 1936 written Oitzen ), sticks and Süttorf and Oetzmühle.

History

Incorporations

On 1 July 1972, the communities break Wedel, Dörmte, Jarlitz, sticks and Suttorf were incorporated.

The Council of the Municipality Oetzen is made up of eleven women council and councilors, including the part-time mayor.

Mayor is Bernd Burmester ( CDU). The municipal director of the council has appointed Thomas Schulz. The Municipal Office is located in the Lunenburg Road 15
