: Of the Wand & the Moon: is a neofolk project of the Danish musician Kim Larsen (formerly Saturn ).

Style

The music of: Of the Wand & the Moon: is influenced by the sounds of acoustic guitar and keyboards as well as a whisper often results presented form of singing. Frequently come various other instruments are used, such as flute, cello, various drums and bells, accordion, bass or violin. Also can be isolated also strong dark ambient influences notice.

Larsen is supported regularly by many guest musicians, such as Albin Julius ( Der Blutharsch ) and John van der Lieth ( Sun Hagal ). The lyrics are mostly in English, partly German and Icelandic and cover topics such as Runes, Norse mythology and nature romanticism.

The album first appeared on Home Sun Kim Larsen's own label Heiðrunar Myrkrunar.
