Offroad.TV is a German action TV series that was broadcast in 2001 by the ARD.

Action

Starting with the TV movie Britta in 1977 series and films of Berengar Pfahl have repeatedly shown the lives of young people and dealt with their situation in life, so also in this production.

A team of reporters the transmitter Offroad.TV with team boss Mike, Nadine presenter, cameraman Diego, mechanic Paul Ludwig and intern Laura is mandated to make reports from all over the world. A novel concept of the series was to transfer the reports not only on TV but also on the internet on the website www.offroad.tv. The website was designed in part, as if the sender really exists. She had a large scale and also provided background information on the in reality imaginary events. This site was closed in 2006.

Broadcast

The series was aired from 22 October 2001 to the end of a week with ten episodes of 50 minutes in the evening program of the ARD to counteract the drop rate of the sender 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. clock.
