Ogenyi Onazi
Ogenyi Eddy Onazi (born 25 December 1992 Lagos) is a Nigerian football player.
Career
Association
Onazi played until 2011 in his home, then he moved to Italy Lazio Rome. In his first season he played in the Primavera youth team of Lazio. His debut in Serie A, he celebrated on matchday 37 of the 2011/12 season under Edoardo Reja. In the 2-0 win over Atalanta he came on in the 89th minute for Senad Lulic. For the 2012/13 season he was part of the first team. Onazi won at the end of the season with Lazio Italian Cup the.
National
For the U -17 from Nigeria, he played three games at the U -17 World Cup in 2009 on home soil. Nigeria reached the final. For the national team he debuted on October 13, 2012 in a 6-1 victory over Liberia. With Nigeria, he won the African Cup of Nations 2013. At the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 Onazi stood in the squad, but had no use.
