OGLE-2005-BLG-071L b

OGLE -2005- BLG - 071L b is an extrasolar planet orbiting the red dwarf OGLE -2005- BLG - 071L all 2900 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

Unlike the majority of exoplanets it has been discovered using the microlensing method. The planet was by Andrzej Udalski et al. discovered in 2005.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 1.8 astronomical units and has a mass of about 286.1 Earth masses and 0.9 Jupiter masses.
