Ognjen Kraus

Ognjen Kraus ( * November 4, 1945 in Zagreb) is a Croatian physician, President of the Jewish Community of Zagreb and the coordination of Jewish Communities in Croatia.

Family background

The family of Ognjen Kraus comes großväterlicherseits from Daruvar. Towards the end of the 19th century they moved to Zagreb. Ognjens grandfather Josip Kraus was the founder of the Mercury clinic in Zagreb. Ibid he died in 1934.
