Oh Boy is a German film director Jan- Ole Gerster from 2012. The photographed in black and white and highlighted with jazz music tragicomedy is about an aimless Berlin ex-students (played by Tom Schilling ), who one day and one night the German capital can drive while diverse people encountered. Oh Boy is also Gerster's thesis at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin.
Action
The Berlin late twenties Niko has dropped out of law school two years ago and has since lived from day to day. The film, set in a single day and the following night waived, largely based on a narrative story and shows in episodic scenes, such as Niko aimless drives against the backdrop of Berlin by the city and is confronted with sometimes comic, sometimes tragic situations.
He meets some very different people: his father, the missile? Him the money supply; a failed actor and the art of living; his lonely and desperate neighbors; a vexatious psychologist who deprives him of the license; a former classmate who is still struggling after many years against the psychological traumas of their childhood; drunken yobs who beat him bloody nose and late at night a mysterious old man who tells of his youth during the period of National Socialism and dies during the night in the hospital.
At the beginning of the film, the protagonist is offered a coffee when you get up, what he refuses. As a running gag, he tried to drink in the whole movie in vain a cup of coffee, which he eventually end only succeed.

The film was shot from June 7 to July 10, 2010 in Berlin. The film was released in Germany on 1 November 2012.
