Criticism

" Oh Boy ' describes tenderly the chaos of an urban and a corresponding inner life and leads to prove that it can only be found by mounted film images to an order actually has the sense. "

" January Ole Gerster has a talent for inventing situations where he can turn his sense of what makes Berlin today, into a comedy. "

"It 's all true: from the Swabian latte macchiato seller on the bitter off-theater director to the excellent shillings. Full of hilarious dialogues and poetic snapshots of the urban reality of life. "

" Tom Schilling is a leading actor, the other is the big city. The film is partly comic, partly oppressive portrait of a Berlin society in which there is an incredibly gruff tone, a general distance and disrespect that can turn into extremes at any time, sometimes in violence. "

" As Niko strolls also the film by Berlin, with the various episodes balance very well balanced between sentiment and satire, tragedy and comedy, the everyday and escalations. The mere fact that Jan Ole Gerster the capital away from chic flagship and hotspot scenes moves into the picture, promoted his film also become a bona fide Berlin Film. "
