Ohio Northern University

The Ohio Northern University (ONU ) is a private, United Methodist Church affiliated University in Ada ( Ohio) and was founded in 1871 by Henry Solomon teaching under the name Ohio Normal University.

The university is attended by approximately 3,400 students and has over 200 employees.

The mascot of the University is a polar bear named Klondike, which is why the center of their terrain tundra is called. The ONU with the English motto Large enough to challenge, small enough to care and the Latin ex Diversitate Vires.
