Õhtuleht

Õhtuleht ( " evening paper " ) is the largest tabloid Estonia. Õhtuleht reached daily by 19.4% of the Estonian population. It is thus by Postimees the second largest daily newspaper in the country.

The newspaper is independent and non-partisan. She appears nationally in the morning from Monday to Saturday in the Estonian language. The editorial office is located in the Estonian capital Tallinn. The newspaper has 111 permanent employees.

Õhtuleht first appeared on 3 July 2000 after the merger of the former competing tabloids Sõnumileht and Õhtuleht under the name SL Õhtuleht. The suffix " SL " has ceased to exist later.

Õhtuleht now belongs equally to AS Eesti Ekspress Grupp of Estonia's media mogul Hans H. Luik and to Eesti Meedia, which publishes the largest circulation daily political newspaper in the country, Postimees.
