Ojo, Nigeria

Ojo is a town in Nigeria and one of the 20 Local Government Areas ( LGA ) of Lagos State.

Ojo is located west of Lagos and includes several lagoons with one. The LGA has an area of ​​158.16 km ² and borders Alimosho Amuwo Odofin and the east and Badagry in the west. At the last census in the year 2006 502.865 inhabitants were counted, thus were 3179 inhabitants in Ojo per square kilometer.

Ojo is the headquarters of the Lagos State University and Volkswagen AG in Nigeria.
