Okehampton

Okehampton is a town in Devon, England; it lies on the north side of Dartmoor the river Okement. The border of the Dartmoor National Park lies immediately south of the city limits.

Like many other places in the West Country Okehampton developed on the basis of the medieval wool trade. Buildings from this time are the Jacob Chapel ( Chapel of St James ) and Okehampton Castle.
