It is with a set of 106 tiles (Turkish: taş ) played from wood or plastic. On the faces of the tiles are the numbers from 1 to 13 in four different colors visible: red, yellow, blue and black. Each number is duplicated in color.

In addition there are two special tokens without special color and number, instead provided with a symbol, such as a four-leaf clover or a moon face. These two pieces are called false Joker (Turkish: sahte okey ).

Backs of all pieces are uniform and indistinguishable.

When giving a six- sided die is used. The players arrange their game pieces on wooden two-level game boards, so that each player can see only his own pieces.

Okey is almost always played four of us, even if it is playable in threes or in pairs. For the entire game, the counter-clockwise direction is considered.

Aim of the game

During the game, each player holds a so-called hand of 14 tiles. The aim is to compile by dragging and dropping of pieces, the first a winning hand that consists entirely of groups and series. A group consists of three or four but equinumerous different colored stones, a series of the same color and numerically consecutive. At a 13 only allowed a one be created - with a 2 must not be continued.

Enter the tokens and determining the Joker

The first dealer is chosen at random, for example, with the cube, or by dragging the highest playing piece. In each subsequent round is the encoder counterclockwise following players new donors. The player to the right of the dealer is the Ausspieler.

After the 106 pieces were mixed well with the neutral lying face up on the table, 21 stacks are formed of five tiles. The neutral side stays up. The one remaining token remains separate. The stacks are distributed before the players up fairly evenly, with the exact number is not important. The donor, however, should have at least six stack in front of him.

The encoder now throws a first time the cube and thus determines counted from the left those of the built-up pile in front of him, on which he hangs the game separately lying stone covered. The elected Joker stack it pushes a little to the left so that the formed by the stacking of "circle" is separated at this point.

With the second litter of donors from below determines counted those pawn in the Joker stack, which he pulls out of the pile and uncovered with the game face up hangs on the same stack. If the selected tile should be a false joker, he is put back into the stack and the second die roll is repeated until a numbers game stone top comes to rest.

This revealed token determines the two real Joker (Turkish: doğru okey ) for the current game round: The real Joker are the two pieces that have the same color and the directly following number as the revealed tile have. If the face up tile for example, a blue 10, then the two blue 11, the real Joker. In the event that the revealed tile shows a 13, then the two same-colored 1, the Joker.

Now, the actual Type follows: Each player will receive 14 tiles, only the Ausspieler 15 Beginning at Ausspieler each player is dealt counterclockwise succession as long batches of five until the Ausspieler has 15 pieces. The stack will be issued to the right of Joker stack sequentially. The next two stacks will be piled on each following a 15er stack from which the other players each get their remaining four tokens.

The rest of the stack is called Tower (Turkish: kale ). The top hidden token in the tower is the ground (Turkish: yer ).

Each player arranges his checkers can only see him on his board.

Motivation for the variable Joker

  • Joker can not be dovetailed
  • Accidentally dropped Joker increase the fun

Course

The Ausspieler begins the game by discarding the player revealed to his right a tile on the table. From now on, each player takes, which is in counter- clockwise order, either the previously dropped from its predecessor token, or the floor. The goes around so on until one player presented to the other his winning hand, with which the current game round is finished. The role of soil migrates from tile to tile from top to bottom on the next batch counterclockwise slowly to the Joker stack. In the event that the Joker stack comes as the last batch of the series, the revealed tile is placed next to it and continue with the remaining batches of five. If the latter is exhausted, the round ends in a draw without scoring in payroll. The uncovered token can never be drawn.

Discarded pieces are piled up, so that only the last discarded tile is visible.

The aim of the game is to assemble a winning hand consisting of groups and series.

A group consists of three (Turkish: üçlü ) or four (Turkish: dörtlü ) but equinumerous different colored stones. A black and two red 7 7 for example, do not form a group.

A series (Turkish: el) consists of at least three of the same color, numerically consecutive tokens. The 1 can be used as either the highest or lowest as token: Blue 1-2-3, or yellow 12-13-1 does not provide valid group represents black 13-1-2 however.

A winning hand consists entirely consisting of groups and series of exactly 14 tokens, which means that a 15 token must be discarded. This is transversely placed on the floor, to indicate that the round has been obtained and presented to the winning hand.

In forming groups and series, the two real Joker may stand in place of any other playing piece. The two false Joker represent the pieces that have ceased to exist by the real Joker. For example, if a red 4 on the Joker stack, then the two red 5, the real Joker, and the Joker wrong each representing a red 5

As an exception, there is a winning hand consisting of seven pairs of the same color, gleichzahliger tokens. Again, true and false jokers are allowed. This winning hand doubles the values in the accounts.

Apart from the revealed tile on the Joker stack and the discarded tiles are the opposing players showed up to the end of the round no tokens. Groups and series are not placed on the table.

If a player manages to present its winning hand throw a real joker, so the values in the double billing.

Statement

There are several variants of the settlement. The variant described here can be played with points or coins:

At the start, each player has the same number of points, for example, 10 If a player wins a game round, so give him the other players each have a point, that is: with four players in the game round winner gets three points and the losers in each case a point deducted. In winning above cases, these numbers double. The game ends when a player has no more point.

Another variant is played with points:

At the start, each player has the same number of points (usually 20 or 30). If a player wins a game round, so all the other players 2, 4 or 8 will be deducted points. One can see how many points will be deducted by seeing the Joker ( Okey ). If it has a black or red color, so is the stone "sweet" ( door: ballistic ) and the players are 2 points " gösterge " at ( when you pull / determines the Okey / Joker and one early in the game has the same stone - one shows the stone ), 4 points in the normal win and eight points, if one with Joker / pairs ( door: opens Cift ) deducted. The other colors are the stones " unsüß " ( door: balsiz ) and half of the values are subtracted.
