Okinawa Plate

The Okinawa - plate is a long, narrow tectonic plate. It extends from the northern end of Taiwan to the south of Kyūshū island. To the east of the plate is the Ryukyu Trench and the Pacific Plate. To the north it borders the Amurplatte and is separated by the Okinawa Trench, which is a backarc basin, (often considered part of the Eurasian plate ) to the west of the Yangtze plate.
