Oko, also known as Ogori - Magongo and Oko - Eni - Osayen, is one of the languages of Nigeria.
It is a dialect cluster, which is spoken in the state of Kogi, Nigeria. Linguistically, the language is a branch of the " Nupe Oko - Idoma " ( noi ) group of the Niger - Congo languages .
Oko is one of the endangered languages of West Africa, as it has only 10,000 speakers and the language of the new official language of Nigeria is since 1960, gradually ousted by the English.
