Okrąglak roundhouse in Piła

The roundhouse Pila (Polish Parowozownia Pilska ) was built in 1870-1874 and is due to the rapid development of railways in Prussia. Due to the exceptional architectural means, which were used in its construction, he served as an opportunity for the construction of other buildings of its kind in Europe.

The engine shed was closed in the 1990s and fell into oblivion. In recent years, the condition of the building has deteriorated dramatically, however, residents strive Pilas ( German Schneidemühl ) to save the building from decay.
