Ola Svanberg

Ola Svanberg ( born June 10, 1985 in Tranemo ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with Borås HC in the Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan since 2010.

Career

Ola Svanberg began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HV 71 Jönköping, for their first team, he was active from 2001 to 2007 in the Elitserien. With the team he was Swedish Champion in the 2003/04 season. He then moved over the 2006/07 season to Rögle BK in the subprime HockeyAllsvenskan, where he remained after the season, where he ran aground in the 2007/ 08 season for their league rivals IK Oskarshamn. In summer 2008, the defender received a contract with the first division Brynäs IF, for which he gave two assists in the 2008 /09 season in 43 games. Towards the end of the season he moved to second division VIK Västerås HK, in which he played one and a half years. The season 2009/10 he also started at VIK Västerås HK and finished it in the Vita Hästen HC in the third-tier Division 1

Since the 2010/11 season he plays for the Borås HC HockeyAllsvenskan.

Internationally

For Sweden Svanberg took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2003 and the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005.
