Ólafur Guðmundsson

Ólafur Andrés Guðmundsson (born 13 May 1990 in Hafnarfjörður ) is an Icelandic handball player.

The 1.92 meter tall and 89 kilograms left back player joined in summer 2010 by the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður for Danish club AG København. A year later he was loaned to Nordsjælland Håndbold. In summer 2012, he signed a contract with the Swedish first division club IFK Kristianstad.

Ólafur Guðmundsson played 52 times for the Icelandic national team, where he scored 48 hits. With the Icelandic youth team, he participated in the XVII. Junior World Cup finals.
