Olav Gullvåg

Olav Gullvåg, even Olav Gullvaag, ( born December 31, 1885 in Trondheim, † September 25, 1961 in Hvalstad in the municipality of Asker, west of Oslo) was Norwegian writer. It occurred mainly as a novelist in appearance.

Life

Gullvaag, son of a craftsman and blind teacher, devoted his youth until the painting before it drew him to writing. He then worked as a journalist for various newspapers in Norway. After his travels, 1929-1931, inter alia, Germany and Italy, he returned to Oslo and devoted himself to writing. A popular framework for action in his novels is the daily life of Norwegian farmers.
