Olav Sunde

Olav Sunde ( born August 17, 1903 in Oslo, † November 10, 1985 ) was a Norwegian athlete who was successful in the 1920s and 1930s in the javelin. He could place 1924-1939 a total of 13 times at the Norwegian championships:

His only international medal he won (Victory width of Sweden Erik Lundqvist: 66,60 m) at the VIII Summer Olympics in Amsterdam in 1928, where he came in 3rd place with 63,97 m. Although he scored with 67.04 m personal best four years later, he scored at the IX. Summer Olympics 1932 in Los Angeles only modest 60,81 m, the number 9 signified (Victory width of the Finns Matti Järvinen: 72.71 m).
