Old-Reformed Congregations in the Netherlands

The Altreformierten municipalities in the Netherlands ( Dutch: Oud Gereformeerde Gemeenten in Nederland) is a Dutch church association with 18,500 members (2010), which is the religious group of the Reformed churches belonging. You will also ( pejoratively ) referred to as the black stockings churches belonging. The social life of these people play for the most part from each other. It will be mainly in church, school, club and also at work. In the political sphere, many members of the Church select the state Kundig Gereformeerde Partij. The Church is missionary together with the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland in Zimbabwe and Malawi operates.

The largest municipalities are Barneveld, Geldermalsen, Hardinxveld- Giessendam, Kinderdijk, Krimpen aan den IJssel, Stavenisse, Rijssen and Urk
