Old Saybrook is a town in Middlesex County in the U.S. state of Connecticut in the United States. In the town of 10,512 inhabitants live (as of 2005) on an area of 56.0 km ².

The most famous resident of Old Saybrooks was the actress Katharine Hepburn, who entertained his life in Fenwick, a coastal hamlet of Old Saybrook, a residence and also died there in 2003. In honor of the actress was the old Town Hall Old Saybrook, which was originally opened in 1911, rebuilt to "The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center". The short " The Kate " said building has a theater stage with 250 spectator seats and a small museum. " The Kate " was opened in 2009.
