Oldenburg G 1

The steam locomotives of Class G1 of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg State Railways were provided both for operation with a Tender as well as a tender locomotive. The frame of the locomotive was designed as a water tank, which became known as "System Krauss ".

At the World Exhibition in Paris in 1867 was the first of the locomotives, it was called " Landwührden " ( image in the infobox ), a gold medal. This machine - it is the first built by Georg Krauss locomotive ever - is now located within the transportation hub of the Deutsches Museum in Munich, after it was bought back in 1900 after a mileage of 860,000 kilometers of Krauss and donated to the museum after restoration.

From the Reichsbahn still 19 machines should be taken as a series 51.70, it is however no longer come because until the preparation of the final Umzeichnungsplans in 1925 already all locomotives were scrapped.
