Older (album)

Older is the third album by George Michael. It was released in May 1996 and was the first album in six years. This occurred because Michael led a legal battle with his former label Sony Music. The album was a huge success in Europe and reached number 3 on the charts in Germany, in the U.S. it got mediocre reviews and satisfied with sixth place in the charts not quite up to expectations.

History

George Michael worked intermittently three years Older. In November 1994, George Michael a new song before, Jesus to a Child. The song was a tribute to his Brazilian boyfriend Anselmo Feleppa, who died in March 1993. Only after Michael had separated from his old label, the piece could be published in January 1996. Criticism
