Oldersbek
Oldersbek (Danish: Oldersbæk ) is a municipality in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein.
Geography
Oldersbek is located about eight kilometers southeast of Husum.
History
A prehistoric settlement of the region is occupied by barrows.
Policy
Municipal council
Of the nine seats in the municipal council voters Community AAWO had since the municipal election 2008, five seats and the voter community WAO four. In the local elections on May 26, 2013, the AAWO received 57.5 percent of the votes cast, the WAO came to 42.5 percent. Nothing changed on the distribution of seats. The turnout was 60.6 percent.
Mayor
For the election period 2013-2018 Hans -Joachim Müller ( AAWO ) was re-elected.

Economy
The municipal area is predominantly agricultural. However, there are also several business parks and wind turbines.
