Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Sedan (1981-1985)

The Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera was Oldsmobile built by the American manufacturer of the summer of 1981 until the end of 1996 model of the middle class.

The Cutlass Ciera, the only Ciera was from the 1995 model year, based on the A platform of General Motors and was closely related to the Chevrolet Celebrity, Pontiac 6000 and the Buick Century.

These models based on the A platform with front wheel drive broke introduced for model year 1978, for the first time reduced middle class models Chevrolet Malibu, Buick Century, Pontiac Le Mans and also from Oldsmobile Cutlass with A- and rear-wheel drive platform. Their coupe variants were, however, still continues to produce a number of years, as well as the station wagon versions ( until the appearance of the front-wheel drive replacement model ).

Compared to the older A -platform models of the new generation were again smaller, lighter and more economical.
