Ole-Kristian Tollefsen

Ole -Kristian Tollefsen ( born March 29, 1984 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ice hockey player who is since May 2010 at MODO Hockey in the Elitserien under contract.

Career

Ole -Kristian Tollefsen began his career as a hockey player in Lillehammer IK, for he held until 2002, was active from 2000 in the GET ligaen, the highest Norwegian league. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 in the third round than a total of 65 players from the Columbus Blue Jackets. First, however, the defender played only once for two years for the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Canadian junior Western Hockey League, before Columbus ' farm team, Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League was on the ice during the lockout in the 2004/05 season. He also played in two games this season for the Dayton Bombers in the ECHL. After spending the 2005/06 season almost exclusively with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL, the Norwegians ran from the 2006 /07 regularly for Columbus in the National Hockey League.

For the 2009/10 season signed Tollefsen a contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, for which he prepared two goals in 18 games. In February 2010, he was discharged to the Detroit Red Wings, but put him only in their AHL farm team Grand Rapids Griffins. In May of the same year he was engaged by MODO Hockey of the Swedish Elitserien, where he was assistant captain at once. With his team he reached the league in the Kvalserien.

Internationally

For Norway Tollefsen took at junior level at the U18 World Junior Championships in 2001 and 2002 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2002, 2003 and 2004 in part. In addition, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 2004 and 2005 as well as in the A World Championships in 2010 and 2011. Moreover, he represented Norway at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
