Oleg Viktorovich Novitsky (Russian Олег Викторович Новицкий, born October 12, 1971 in Tscherwen, Minsk Woblasz, Byelorussian SSR ) is a Russian cosmonaut.

Spaceman activity

Novitsky was selected as an astronaut in October 2006 and completed his training of 2006 to 2009. He was commander of the spaceship Soyuz TMA- 06M, which was launched to the ISS on 23 October 2012. Novitsky was the first of his training group, which came to a space flight.
