Oleg Saprykin

Oleg Dmitrievich Saprykin (Russian Олег Дмитриевич Сапрыкин; born February 12, 1981 in Moscow ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since June 2013.

Career

Saprykin began his career at HK CSKA Moscow before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1999 in the first round of the eleventh of the Calgary Flames. Overall, he played five seasons for the Flames before he was traded on 26 August 2004 together with Denis Gauthier of the Phoenix Coyotes. This gave Daymond Langkow from this to the Flames.

On 27 February 2007, he was traded along with a seventh- round draft against a second-round draft from the NHL Entry Draft in 2007 to the Ottawa Senators.

The lockout season 2004/ 05 he spent also in his home at HK CSKA Moscow. Between 2007 and 2009 he played for CSKA Moscow before he was obliged by HK Dynamo Moscow in the summer of 2009. In early December 2009, he was released in exchange for Igor Makarov to SKA Saint Petersburg.

In July 2010 he transferred within the KHL Salavat Yulaev Ufa to and won with his new team in 2011 the Gagarin Cup. After his Scorer values ​​in the 2012/13 season marked reductions were, then he received a new contract in Ufa and returned in June 2013 back to CSKA Moscow.
