Oleg Serebrian

Oleg Serebrian ( born July 13, 1969 in Hădărăuţi, Moldavian SSR ) is a Moldovan politician and geopolitics.

From 2001 to 2008 he was Chairman of the Social Liberal Party of Moldova. He became a member of the Moldovan Parliament 2005; was re-elected for a second four-year term on July 29, 2009. He received his education among other things, the European Institute for International Higher Education Studies, Nice (France) and the University of Edinburgh and ENA in Paris. From 1999 to 2003 he was Vice-Rector of the Free University of Moldova. Since 2008 Serebrian is first vice-chairman of the Democratic Party.

In 2010 he resigned his seat to become Ambassador of Moldova in France.
