Oleg Soldatov

Oleg Soldatov Jurjewitsch (Russian Олег Юрьевич Солдaтов; born January 9, 1963 in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai ) is a Russian conductor.

Life

Soldatov studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where he received his diploma in 1986. 1990-1991 he was the artistic director of the Tomsk Symphony Orchestra, 1992-2006, he led the Symphony Orchestra of the Karelian Philharmonic. Since 1996 he has been chief conductor of the Sochi Symphony Orchestra.
