Olena Pidhrushna

Olena Mychajliwna Pidhruschna (Ukrainian Олена Михайлівна Підгрушна; Russian Елена Михайловна Подгрушная; born January 9, 1987 in Legnica, Poland) is a Ukrainian biathlete and politician.

Olena Pidhruschna was a successful junior athlete. Their first major international event was the Junior World Championships 2004 at the Summer Biathlon in Osrblie. There was twelve best place in the sprint result. The following winter she went to at the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti where a twelfth place in the single best result was. In 2005, she also appeared again at the Summer Junior World Championships, this time in Muonio, to where it won gold in the relay.
