Olga Potylitsina

Olga Viktorovna Potylizyna (Russian Ольга Викторовна Потылицына; led by FIBT as Olga Potelitcina; born September 17, 1989 in Krasnoyarsk, Russian SFSR, USSR) is a Russian skeleton athlete.

Olga Potylizyna lives in Moscow. It began in 2007 with the sport of skeleton and is a member of the Russian national team since 2008. In Winterberg 2008 she gave her debut in the European Cup and reached skeleton as third-placed already in her first race for the podium. The following race in the European Cup season have all proved less successful. Only the season finale in Cesana Pariol she came in fourth place when again near the podium ranks. At the Junior World Cup in Koenigssee, which were Potylizynas highlight of the season, the Russian reached the seventh place. The following season began Potylizyna in Skeleton Intercontinental, never reached but aside from a tenth place in the fourth and final race in Cesana places among the best 15 in the rest of the season, the Russian came in the European Cup for use, reached there, mostly single-digit rankings, came but only in Igls as fourth placed near the podium ranks. For the 2010/11 season Potylizyna first participated at the Skeleton World Cup. In Whistler on the Olympic track the preseason they came in the first World Cup race on the 17th Place. The best result was a fourth place in Igls, were added three other matches in the top 10 you finished the season in 9th place in the overall ranking. At the European Championships and World Cup 2011, they were each fifth.
