Olga Puchkova

Olga Alexeyevna Putschkowa (Russian Ольга Алексеевна Пучкова; born September 27, 1987 in Moscow, then the Soviet Union) is a Russian tennis player.

Career

Putschkowa plays tennis professionally since 2002. She was sometimes quite successfully at junior events and celebrated in 2003 its first title on the ITF Women's Circuit. Only in 2006, she succeeded, however, to reach the main draw at a Grand Slam tournament; it failed in the first round of the U.S. Open. Two weeks later, she then reached for the first time in Kolkata a WTA final, which they lost with 0:6, 4:6 against Martina Hingis.
