Olha Zhovnir

Olha Bohdaniwna Schownir ([' ɔʎɦɑ bɔɦ'd̪ɑɲiwnɑ ' ʒɔwɲir ]; Ukrainian Ольга Богданівна Жовнір, born June 8, 1989 in Netischyn ) is a Ukrainian saber fencer and Olympic champion.

Achievements

At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing Olha Schownir Gold won with the saber team, consisting of Olena Chomrowa, Olha Charlan, Halyna Pundyk and her. In the World Fencing Championships 2009, this team also won gold. 2010, 2011 and 2012, the same team won two silver medals.
