Oliver Hartmann

Oliver Hartmann ( born June 28, 1970 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German songwriter, singer, producer and guitarist. He was lead singer of the power metal band At Vance and worked in rock and metal productions with ao Avantasia, Edguy, Rhapsody of Fire and Freedom Call.

Life

At the age of ten years, Hartmann began taking guitar lessons at the age of 13 and then founded the first bands among others HEAT as the winner of rock Prize 1989. Was not until the age of 18, he focused increasingly on the vocals and collected as a guitarist and singer in bands with over 100 performances per year and CD productions studio and stage experience. The international success progressed with the power metal band At Vance, with whom he recorded four albums as lead singer of 1999 to 2002.

His voice can be heard on international productions, such as Avantasia, Aina genius and as a choral voice for Hammerfall, Helloween, Edguy and Iron Mask. Especially in the Power Metal major choirs ( backing vocals ) Hartmann is active due to its high tone range and recognition value. After Hartmann got out at At Vance, he focused on his solo project HARTMANN, with the 2005, the first album was released Out In The Cold. Musically, the sound carrier is assigned to the Melodic Rock and AOR. HARTMANN played in 2006 as the opening act for Toto on some concerts of those European tour. Followed in 2007 by the album Home, from which in March 2008, a live CD and a live DVD titled Handmade published.

After frequent live concerts and the release of the album 3 in November 2009 HARTMANN appeared as a special guest of Mother's Finest or Uriah Heep. Oliver Hartmann went in January 2012 as a guitarist and singer from ROCK MEETS CLASSIC together with, inter alia, Ian Gillan, Steve Lukather and Robin Beck on a European tour. In April 2012 he and his band completed the recording of the new studio album HARTMANN balance, which was released in June.

Incidentally, Oliver Hartmann is still singer of Pink Floyd tribute band Echoes. He also belonged to the solid cast as a guitarist and singer of Avantasia world tours. Hartmann is an endorser of the guitar effects company T- Rex Engineering, FGN Guitars and Mesa / Boogie.
