Oliver Krischer

Oliver Krischer ( born July 26, 1969 in Zuelpich ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90/The Greens ) and Member of the German Bundestag.

Family

Krischer lives in Düren, is married to Sybille Haussmann and has two sons.

Education and work

Krischer grew up in Heimbach (Eifel ). After high school and community service, he studied biology at the RWTH Aachen. From 1997 to 2002 he was a member of the Bundestag Michaele Hustedt. From 2002 to 2009 he was then a research associate of the NRW state parliament for the Greens in the field of energy, agriculture and land use planning.

Party

1989 Krischer joined the party Alliance 90/The Greens one. Since 1994 he is member of the council and in 1997 Chairman of the Group. County chairman of his party, he was 2005. 2006 he was elected to the County Board the Middle Rhine. Backed by No. 8 on the country's list of GREEN he managed in the general election 2009 to the Bundestag. In the federal election district of Düren (2009: 91; since 2013: 90), he reached as a direct candidate a first vote of 6.3 % ( second votes 7.8%). For the parliamentary election in 2013 Krischer was secured with the Rank 6. He reached in 2013 4.9% of the primary vote and 6.1% of the second votes and pulled over the national list back in the Bundestag.

Oliver Krischer was 2009-2013 Spokesman of the Parliamentary Group for Energy. Since 2013 he has been Deputy Group Chairman and political coordinator of the Working Group Environment & Energy, Transportation & Construction and Nutrition & Agriculture of the Parliamentary Group of the Greens. He is also a substitute member of the Committee of Economy and Energy, as well as alternate member of the Committee on Transport and digital infrastructure. He is also head of the working group on energy and climate in the Green Parliamentary Group. The focus of his work within the climate and energy policy issues in the efficiency of power generation, combined heat and power generation, electricity market design, a reform of the mining law, as well as the CCS ( carbon capture and storage) and fracking.

On site in his constituency Düren Oliver Krischer employs, among others, the problems around the Rhenish lignite mining in the area, such as Relocation, destruction of landscapes, mining damage and particulate pollution, the atomic legacy of the Research Centre Jülich and the decommissioning of the Belgian nuclear power plant Tihange Oliver Krischer is responsible as a local Greens MP for the constituencies of Aachen, Düren, Euskirchen and Rhein- Erft. His local constituency offices are located in Aachen and Düren.

Volunteering

Oliver Krischer is a member in BUND, NABU, mining injured in association Netzwerk eV and the ASPCA Düren district. From 2001 to 2006 he was Chairman of the Biological Station in the district of Düren. In addition, he was from 2002 to 2008 Board member of the Friends of the Eifel National Park. Since October 2010 he is to succeed Jürgen Roters chairman of the association. Here he is particularly concerned with the issues of " noise pollution in the national park ", " national park acceptable development of the Nazi Castle Vogelsang ", the use of draft horses in the National Park and the further designation of national parks in NRW. In addition, Oliver Krischer is 2011 Member of the Board of Euro Solar since 12 November.
