Oliver Stapleton

Oliver C. Stapleton ( born April 12, 1948 in London, United Kingdom ) is a British cinematographer.

Life

Stapleton grew up in South Africa, where he attended the University of Cape Town and amateur movies turned. Back in England, he attended until 1980, the National Film and Television School in his hometown of London, and then worked as a cameraman for music videos with his film school classmate Julien Temple. One of his best known work in this area was the a-ha The Sun Always Shines video on TV. Stapleton won at the MTV Video Music Awards in the category ' Best Cinematography in a Video ' camera price.

Mid-80s moved Stapleton finally to the movie, for which he had worked at the beginning of the decade the first time.
