Olivia Brown
Olivia Margarette Brown ( born April 10, 1960 in Livonia, Michigan ) is an American actress.
Career
Her acting career began in 1977 with Brown a guest appearance on the television series The Outsiders. The early 1980s was followed by other film offers for television formats, but also for movies like the thriller 48 Hrs (1982). She played her best known role from 1984 to 1989 in the crime series Miami Vice, in which she portrayed in 83 episodes of Detective Trudy Joplin.

Olivia Brown was married in first marriage to actor Mykelti Williamson, whom she met during the filming of Miami Vice. After only two years, the couple separated again and later she married James Okonkwo, with whom she has two children together.
Her brother Steve played in the 1980s for the football team of the Houston Oilers in the NFL.
