Olivia Buckley

Olivia Francisca Buckley Dussek (* 1799 in London, † 1847) was an English pianist, harpist and composer. She is the daughter of the Bohemian composer Jan Ladislav Dusík (also: Dussek ).

Olivia Francisca was born in 1799 as the only child of the couple Dusik ( Dussek ) in London. Immediately after her birth, the father fled after being with his father Domenico Corri (1733-1825), was established music publisher went bankrupt, to Hamburg. The mother pulled her child alone, taught there in both the harp and the piano and organized public appearances of the child. At the age of 8 years, she gave his first concerts in London.
