Olivia Burnette

Olivia Burnette ( born March 24, 1977 in San Clemente, California; native Olivia Nicole Burnette ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Burnette debuted as a child in one episode of the TV series Riptide from 1985. For her role in the television drama A tribute to the family ( 1987), in which she starred with Ed Begley Jr. and Diane Ladd, she was awarded in 1988 the first of the so far eleven nominations for the Young Artist Award. Two of those nominations ( in 1992 and 1993) she received for her appearances in the television series all my children in the years 1991 and 1992. Their recent nomination for the Young Artist Award was given in 1995 for the role in the television drama ... and hope for love from the year 1994.

In Western Quick and the Dead (1995 ) Burnette played alongside Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman and Russell Crowe. In the thriller Eye for an Eye (1996 ) she portrayed by Robert Doob ( Kiefer Sutherland ) murdered daughter of Karen McCann ( Sally Field ), which is avenged by her mother. Burnette moved then from Los Angeles to New York City where she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. She completed her studies with degrees in English literature and film art.

Burnette produced the short film with Mountain Cry from 2000. She married the composer Julian Sakata, with whom she lives together in Southern California.
