Olivier Adam

Olivier Adam (born 12 July 1974 in Draveil in Paris ) is a French writer and screenwriter.

Life

Olivier Adam in 1999 published his first novel Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas ( German: Do not worry, I'm fine ), which was filmed in 2006 by Philippe Lioret under the same title. Since then Adam has issued a number of contemporary French literature, and published three books for young people four novels and short stories Passer l' hiver ( At the end of winter), which was awarded the "Prix Goncourt de la Nouvelle ".

Critics testify Olivier Adam, he had " strongly influenced and sustainable" with his " simple, factual but concise writing style and his thematic preference for simple, standing on the edge of society or emotionally impaired people " in recent years, the image of the contemporary French literature.

For the screenplay of the film Je vais bien, ne t'en fais pas (Do not worry, I'm fine ) Adam got together with his co -author Lioret an Étoile d'Or as " Best Screenwriter". Even with Lioret film Welcome which was released in theaters in 2009, he wrote the screenplay.

Adam now lives in Kyoto, is married and has one daughter.
