Olivier Monterrubio

Olivier Monterrubio ( born August 8, 1976 in Gaillac ) is a French football player.

Monterrubio began his professional career in 1996 at FC Nantes. In five seasons, he scored 23 goals as a midfielder there. In 2001 he moved to Stade Rennes ( 183 games, 34 goals). During the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 he moved on to RC Lens. From 2008, he played for FC Sion. After only one season in which he celebrated the Cup victory with FC Sion, he moved back to France for FC Lorient

During his time at Rennes, he was repeatedly best passer of the ball Ligue 1 Together with the Swiss Alexander Frei he made at that time one of the most prolific attack duo.
