Olivier Tielemans

Olivier Tielemans ( born June 1, 1984 in Weert ) is a Dutch racing driver.

Career

Like most racers began Tielemans his career in karting, where he was active from 1991 to 1997. After a long pause, he rose in 2002 to Formula racing one. His main focus was on the Italian Formula Renault Campus, where he finished fourth overall with four wins. He also took on a respective races of the Italian Formula Renault and Formula Renault 2.0 Euro Cups in part. In 2003 he was both in the Dutch Formula Renault, as well as in the Benelux Formula Renault fifth in the overall standings.

After Tielemans 2004 had initially found no cockpit, he went in the second half of the season of Formula 3000 team for the Astro Mega at the start. He replaced it in January Heylen. The Dutchman was never in the top ten and finished at the end of the season the 21th place in the drivers' standings. After he had received no cockpit in the Formula 3000 series successor GP2 he competed in the 3000 Pro Series for the Scuderia Famà. In 2006 he moved to touring car racing and entered in the DTM for the team Futurecom TME, the Audis began to.
