The Old Pickled in Berne

The Old Pickled is a river in Lower Saxony Wesermarsch.

The 17 km long river created by the influx of several drainage ditches south of Altenesch, a district of Lemwerder. Between Katjenbüttel and moaning, both places in the municipality of Berne, the Motzer channel connects the Old Pickled with the Weser. Shortly before Berne, at the place Hannöver, branches off from the right side of the Weser Deicher Fleth. In the resort Berne comes as a left tributary of the Berne added. The Old Pickled opens as a right tributary between Huntebrück and Wehrder in the Hunte.
