Olmaliq (Cyrillic Олмалиқ; Russian Алмалык Almalyk ) is a county -level city in Uzbekistan Tashkent Province, located 55 km southeast of the capital, Tashkent, at about 530 m above sea level. Olmaliq is located on the northern slopes of the Qurama Mountains on the left bank of the river Ohangaron. According to the population census in 1989 Olmaliq then had 116,000 inhabitants, a calculation for 2009 are that there is the population of 110 747.

Olmaliq was founded in 1951 and developed into a center of metallurgy, are promoted in the copper, molybdenum, lead and zinc from the Qurama Mountains and partly processed. However, the name of the town refers to the occurrence of wild apple trees, olma is Uzbek for " apple ".

From Olmaliq the football club FK Olmaliq comes.
