Olmo al Brembo

Olmo al Brembo is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 512 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012).

Geography

Olmo al Brembo located 45 km north of the provincial capital of Bergamo and 70 km northeast of the city of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Averara, Cassiglio, Mezzoldo, Piazza Brembana, Piazza Torre, Piazzolo and Santa Brigida.

Attractions

• The Chapel of the Madonna dei Campelli from the 17th century

• The parish church from the 15th century is the local patron saint San Antonio dedicated to abate. It contains some precious works.

• The small chapel of San Rocco was built in gratitude about the end of the plague

• The historic castle is decorated in Venetian style.
