Oloibiri

Oloibiri is a village in Nigeria, Bayelsa State.

Beginning of the 20th century, the church of St. Michael was built. During this time, the first church, school was built. The village is known as the place in Nigeria, was first successfully drilled in the June 1956 by Shell for oil. The first oil discovery should have been made ​​, however, in reality, six miles away at Itokopiri. For residents has resulted from the oil find no improvement of life.
