OLT Express

OLT Express Regional Sp z o.o. (formerly Jet Air and OLT Jetair ) was a Polish regional airline based in Warsaw and based on the Lech Walesa Airport, Gdansk.

History

Jet Air was founded in 2001 in Warsaw and worked initially in the business aviation as a broker for some small local companies.

In the winter of 2005/ 06 they took scheduled flights on behalf of the LOT.

As of May 30, 2011 flying operation was canceled at short notice and until further notice. In July and August 2011, the Investment Partnership Amber Gold took over 70 % of the Company and 100 % of East Frisian air transport (short- OLT). Both companies will continue to be managed separately. In September 2011 the name was changed to OLT Jetair, since February 2012, the company was called OLT Express Regional.

In July 2012, the license, the company was withdrawn, then the company went bankrupt.

Destinations

OLT Express Regional served - together with the sister OLT Express Poland - among other objectives within Poland Katowice and Gdansk. In other European countries also Berlin- Tegel, Hamburg, Bremen, Brussels and Prague were served.
