Omadal Island

Pulau Omadal or Omadel Pulau is a Malaysian state of Sabah on the island belonging to the southeastern edge of the open to the Celebes Sea Darvel Bay. The island is located in Semporna district of Tawau Division. It is located about a kilometer southeast of Pulau Bum Bum and is heavily wooded in parts. The island is irregularly shaped, but remembers a total upside-down, triangle with a bay on the west side. The edge lengths of this triangle are about 1.6 kilometers. [Note 1] The island is largely flat; the top level of the forest cover is given as 46 m. The island is separated by a two- kilometer-wide Strait of Pulau Bum Bum.
Demography
The island is populated on the west, the neighboring island of Pulau Bum Bum tip facing; mainly Bajau. Besides fishing has recently been the cultivation and production of seaweed a source of income of the population ansääsigen here.
