Omega Pharma

Omega Pharma is a pharmaceutical company from Belgium. The company was founded in 1987 by Marc Coucke and Yvan Vindevogel, former students of the University of Ghent. The company employs approximately 2,000 employees (2012 ) and is headquartered in Nazareth, Belgium.

Expansion in Europe

In 2001, Omega Pharma, the German Chefaro Pharma GmbH and Paracelsia Pharma GmbH, both based in Waltrop.
